No Wi-Fi? No problem!

Hello, fellows!
Today, I want to introduce a CUTE item for more smart travel in Korea.
So most people thesedays have at least one smart phone, and it gives them so much information in real time. However, if you are a traveler, you can’t connect to a wireless network on your smart phone in some places except a Wi-Fi zone. So you will have to walk in the coffee shops whether you want to have drink or not or… just steal other people’s Wi-Fi. :p
You have to wander around to get even slight signal.

Unfortunately, there is no public Wi-Fi on the street and you may not want to buy a cup of expensive coffee to get a signal. You might be frustrated.

Now… you don’t have to pay for coffee to get Wi-Fi.
I want to introduce pocket size wireless router.
A.K.A “Pocket Wi-Fi”

This little cute item will lead your travel more smart and easy.

So we are planning to provide this pocket Wi-Fi device with some charge at Merry Trip center.(Opened in February.)
Now, you can rent it at the Incheon airport, but people forget to get this because well… you know people just want to get out of the airport and see the world they have expected. >_<
This is only ￦7000 a day, and your friends maximum three people can also use the same device together. But it will give you full signals 24/7 without any additional fee.
So once you get the device it will look like this.
Pouch, pocket Wi-Fi device, charger, and a quick user guide.
And you will find a small square button on the side of the device. Push it for 3~4 second, (Sorry for my fat fingers. hah)

Then red lights will flicker for seconds. When the red lights turns to be green, you can connect your devices such as a smart phone or a laptop to the Wi-Fi.

Ok… let see how to access Wi-Fi on your smart phone.
My smart phone is ased on Android, but I am pretty sure phones with iOS has a pretty similar process to it.
First, go to the “Settings” application and then tap “Wi-Fi” on your smart phone. You will enter WiFi Access window as below.
Select “KT WiBro Bridge (service set identification number)”

Type the password in the Password section (The Key (password) is stated on your pocket Wi-Fi.)
  

Then wait until your smart phone is “Connected”

Then you finish! Enjoy your Wi-Fi!

The pocket Wi-Fi device will last for about 7 hours on average.
So don’t forget to charge the device before you go to sleep :D

My friend Rachel, she used this pocket Wi-Fi device even though she already has 4G LTE unlimited service. And… she said… it was almost same speed with 4G LTE and she could save battery because the phone did not have to find a signal every second. So… HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! :D
